5-Volume Collector's Hardcover Set of the Calvin's Commentaries on Psalms 1849

5-Volume collector's hardcover set of "Calvin's Commentaries on The Psalms" printed in 1849 by the Edinburgh Printing Company of Scotland. The actual covers are embossed beautifully with gold print. This slightly used collection is in very good condition and was owned and utilized professionally by a female Presbyterian Minister who recently passed away.

The 5 volumes in the set were translated from original Latin to English by the Reverend James Anderson for the Calvin Translation Society. Each volume varies in the number of pages, but consists typically of around 500 to 600 pages per book. The basic dimensions of these marvelous books are 5.5" wide X 8.5" tall, with thicknesses of around 2. Each of the 5-Volumes represents a detailed commentary on the different Psalms of the Holy Bible, with incredible descriptions of the Scriptures. All the Psalms of the Bible are covered in vivid detail. This collector's set of John Calvin's theological interpretations of the Psalms is an absolute "must have" for ministers and theology students.
