Otherwise pages are clean and unmarked. Bindings are tight and square. Brown leatherette covers have light surface wear and a few very minor bumps. Gilt titles on covers and spines, each cover has a different color paste down photograph of front reflecting the era covered in that volume. Slip case is solid with moderate surface and edge wear.Volumes are: Earliest Times to The Renaissance, The Renaissance to World War I, and World War I to present day. Images shown are photos of the actual copy you will receive.
The protected books are then placed in a cardboard box with some bubble wrap to protect covers and corners. We will always protect the book with an archival bag and will bubble wrap if space allows.
