Antique 1776 Leather Collection of English Poets Book Set Aberdeen John Boyle
Comes from a clean non smoking home. In different degrees of condition. Six volumes (on the right in the first photo), the boards are attached to the volume. On the left six volumes do not have both boards attached.
Originally a set of twenty volumes, thus incomplete. Each book is approx 3.5" x 5.5". Detailed photos of Pope Volume I indicate quality of all volumes inside. Leather spine and boards are uniform in their wear patterns. Owner name inscribed in front of each book (Bedinger). Includes William Shenston Volume I & II, Matthew Prior Volume I & II, James Thomson Volume II, Dr. Jonathan Swift, Volume II, John Dryden Volume I & II, Alexander Pope Volume I & III, John Gay Volume I & II. During research we could not find these volumes at all. Declaring them rare and or hard to find.If there is a difference between the item description and the photos, use the photos to resolve.
