Though these volume show wear, the set of this age is in remarkable condition, perfect for those desiring to collect antiquarian books. Volume 1 shows by far the most wear, the front board is no longer attached, the binding is the weakest of the volumes included but still readable. The front hinges of the remaining volumes are loose, but the boards remain attached. Volume 4 shows the most damage to the gilding on the spine, evident from the photos.
