John Bunyan Pilgrim's Progress + The Holy War 2 Book Set Leather 1803. Highly collectible book set, but the condition of the covers are not great. One copy is missing one side of the cover. Covers are very worn on all faces including the spine. Staining throughout both book's inner pages.
Some initial interior pages may be missing on one of the books. Otherwise the pages inside are in good condition. There is one page that is missing the top half. Both books have an inscription that is of a library in a very nice calligraphy style of cursive writing. Please see photos and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Good candidate for a cover restoration. Despite all flaws, they still look great and retain a lot of character on the shelf. We believe these are 1803 based on one date that appears in the forward. But otherwise there is no publication date within either copy.
