Set of 6 Volumes of John Ruskin. Different number of pages for each topic or letters in the books. Hardcover in leather and greenish marbled paper. Raised bands to decorated spine in gilt, brown, and black colors. 7 l/2" x 5" x 1 1/4 each.
Moderate soiling, most of it on endpapers. Six volumes: Arrows of the Chace: endpapers and pages of contents starting to loose.

Volume 1: Letters of Art and Letters of Science. Volume 2: Letters of Politics and War, Letters on Political Economy, Miscellaneous Letters, and Appendix. There's a note to the second volume dated November 15, 1880, followed by four pages of Chronological List of the Letters Contained in the Second Volume. The book ends with another chronological list of letters including both volumes and an index. Fors Clavigera volumes 1 and 2. Volume 1 has Letters 1 to 55, plus Notes and Correspondence. Volume 2 has Letters 56 to 96.Elements of Drawing has three letters, prefaces and an appendix. Has 6 lectures in the table of contents at the book's beginning. Opens with an illustration on frontispiece and a table of contents for Volume 1 and 2. Chapter 1 begins with The Alps and Jura Part of a Lecture given in the Museum of Oxford, in October, 1874.
