Lots of Illustrations and maps. Limited to subscription only sales, making this a fine collectible set. Pages themselves are clean, although with nearly 4,000 pages... Impossible to check each one. Page EDGES (when closed) have staining and wear. Covers have wear but are overall very nice. This set is not perfect cosmetically on the outside. But inside it is very good. Some wear from age, use and storage which may or may not include some, none or all of the following: writing/personalized notes on inside covers and title pages(or notes on pages in the case of songbooks and sheet Music), small tears, creasing, etc.... All typical Vintage and antique book wear. See top of description for any outstanding flaws.
