Frank Baum 10 Book Set Hardcover White Edition Reilly & Lee 1956. This listing includes 11 gorgeously illustrated Wizard of Oz books, 10 from White Edition series published circa 1965 by Reilly & Lee + 1 bonus. All show signs of shelf wear, i. Scuffs on the covers and wear along the tail/bottom edges and head of the spine. Covers are bright and vibrant, but some show fading along the spines.
The inner pages are clean and in good condition with no creasing or tears. No rips, tears, missing pages, stickers, or crayoning. Hinges are strong and fairly tight. Some of the cover/boards have bowing. Details/exceptions to the above are listed below.
#1 - The Wizard of OZ: C op this ed. 25.00 " written in pencil on intro page and " 1/25/87 > on title page. #3 - Ozma of OZ: splatter stains on the long edge of the pages, very slightly cocked, moderately bowed top corners, light stains on the cover, something in pencil that was erased on the inside top cover price? And a checkmark in pencil on the title page.
#5 - The Road to OZ: moderate bowing lower corners, light chipping on the top right corner of cover, some light staining on back, " 25.95 " written in pencil on inside cover, some fading of the colors on the spine. #6 - The Emerald City of OZ: light bowing on front bottom corner. #7 - The Patchwork Girl of OZ: light stains along spine. #8 - Tik-Tok of OZ: light horizontal mark on top right cover. #9 - The Scarecrow of OZ: light stains along spine, "From Ellie Sandi" written in pencil on blank title page.
#10 - Rinkitink in OZ: some fading of the colors on the spine, light staining on the cover, moderately bowed top corners. #12 - The Tin Woodman of OZ: some fading of the colors on the spine, tight binding.#14 - Glinda of OZ: very slightly cocked, light stains on cover. BONUS - Merry Go Round in OZ (1963) by Eloise Jarvis and Lauren McGraw, Vintage HCDJ Book: dust jacket with plastic cover intact.
